GOOD THINGS and BAD THINGS

1. The way some asexual people complain endlessly about how gross and awful it is the way fangirls (and it's always girls in their world) make any male/male friendship into sexy times, but don't say ONE PEEP about the way almost all other stories do the exact same thin with male/female friendship! Their is plenty of male/male friendship out there, in fiction an fanfiction both. The same is not so easy to say about male/female friendship! (I'm sorry, you just wanted female/female relationships of any kind? Or maybe non-binary characters??? My condolences, nobody likes those >:()

2. My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is no longer making me laugh as it once did. The old episodes are still great, but I find the new stuff too overblown and not subtle enough. Plus the lessons seem more trite than they did. The episode with Cranky Doodle REALLY irritated me, the lesson was so awful. Pinkie Pie was awful and invasive, but her bad behaviour, while unwelcome to Cranky, eventually paid off and they became friends. And did she change her ways and leave him alone? Nope! The lesson SHOULD have been "NOT EVERYONE WILL BE YOUR BUDDY, GET OVER IT". Instead she bullies him all episode and then is saved by fate at the end >:(

3. Th way Homestuck fandom reacts to Tavros and Vriska and their abuse narrative. Yuck yuck yuck.

1. My salamander ask blog is getting more popular! How I love those silly silly salamanders.

2. Drawing more and posting it to my personal tumblr! Makes me feel so much happier to be productive. It's also really nice when I see other people enjoying things I've drawn!

3. GLITCH! I haven't had a chance to play with the new animals yet but I'm looking forward to it a lot! In case you don't know, Glitch is a massively multiplayer online game with a very whimsical sort of feel. There are trees with eggs on, everything talks (with awful puns), and the object descriptions are all very silly. The music and graphics are pretty, though sometimes a bit repetitive in the wooded areas. The player base is about half nice, half jerk, which is a lot better than your average online game. Gameplay is resource gathering/combining mostly, with no overall goal but lots of little quests. Overall I would really recommend it! It's in Beta right now but I have several invite codes :)
